Ames grew up with an Appalachian family tradition: his grandfather would set honeycomb on the table to welcome guests. In 2015, he began experimenting with honey and peppers, making the first bottles as Christmas gifts for family and friends.
That blend became AR’s Hot Southern Honey. The collection now brings together chile-infused honeys, pure Southern honey, sauces, and recipes for home cooks and professional kitchens.
